Background: Haha, I can't believe I actually found this piece of...well, I wouldn't exactly call it "fanfic" because it's...well, crap, but whatever.

Basically, it was the story detailing the origins of my Mary Sue character (who has since been retired). She was pretty much the Uber Sue. I never posted this because I got out of my Mary Sue phase before I did, so it was left to rot on this CD I burned my fics onto. This was one of the fics that didn't survive the First Format Ever, but it obviously did survive in some form if I'm able to post it.

Anyway, it's pretty short, but it'll be behind a cut anyway.

Disclaimer: I do not own Zelda. However, I do own Minna Kinotome, Izanagi, and a few other things.
This fanfiction follows Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time manga storyline, which is very different from the video game.
I added things and didn't change anything to the plot, other than add my characters into it. Most the things that were added happen before the actual story takes place.

Do not take my characters without my permission as they are copyright to me (Minna Kinotome).

This story is told from a third person view, though the storyteller is actually Minna Kinotome (the character), years later, telling this to her children.

That said, read on for the story.

*Chapter One*
 It was a nice sunny day. Birds were chirping, and all was silent. "I hate you all!"
Well maybe not. That was the cry of Minna Harkinian, the king's youngest daughter of three. She ran out of the castle and up to the gate. "Princess, don't!" Impa, the nursemaid, shouted as the young princess ran off.
But that was a year ago. Now she lives with the Kokiri. "Oh, Sari, where's Link? Shouldn't he be up by now?" Minna asked her best friend, Saria. "Well, I saw him in his house a little while ago. He was talking about Mido again," the green headed girl replied in her soft-spoken voice. Suddenly, a little boy with blond hair and blue eyes stepped forward, holding a broken Deku Stick, a look of triumph on his childish face. "That oughta teach Mido.. tellin' me I can't see the Great Deku Tree...," the boy said, sitting down still holding the deku stick. Minna noticed the blue light hovering above Link's head. "Link, you got a fairy?! Wow.. and you were summoned by the Great Deku Tree? Awesome. Hey Iz, I have a new friend for you!" Minna yelled as a purple fairy zoomed from her house behind them.
 "So, what did Mido say?" Saria asked, looking at the blond Kokiri with curious eyes. "He said in order for me to pass, I need the Kokiri Sword and a shield. I've got a shield.. but...," Link trailed off. "I don't have the sword."
"There's a sword in Hidden Vale," Minna said, getting up. "-- And I know just where it is!" Minna took Link's hand and pulled him to the Kokiri Training Grounds. "This is Hidden Vale?"
"No silly. The enterance to it is, though, Just climb through this hole." Minna climbed in first and got out on the other side. Just when Link got out and ran in the path, a giant boulder came rolling towards him. He was about to be squished by it when Minna pulled him next to her. "You have to wait, otherwise you'll be killed by a rock."
 They went left from the entrance, then right from there, and then straight. At the end of the path was a dead end with a treasure chest at the end. "This is it," Minna said, walking towards it. She lifted the lid on the chest. "Wait-a-minute... there's two... what the--?" She shrugged and grabbed them and the scabbards, rushing back to Link. They raced to the entrance and crawled out. "Well I found two of them, so have one, and I'll take the other." Link took the one in her right hand and its scabbard, while Minna kept the other one. They walked back to where Mido was....

The sad thing about this fic is that I was going to make it a SERIES. The horror.

Good thing I got out of the Mary Sue-ing stage before I posted it. It would've been a disaster.

The cool thing is that you can laugh at yourself and say "Look guys. I fucked up." That's highly respectable as some people try to hide that they ever entered a Mary Sue phase.

I had one Mary Sue fic. Just one. For Justice Gauken/Rival Schools/Project Justice. She was UBER EVERYTHING. Luckily my computer crashed and wiped the fic from existence. :) God works in mysterious ways they say.

I took the Sue from this fic and parodied her in "My Inner Hell", actually. Most people don't realise that XD

I'm sure most people've written Mary Sues. Most people are just too scared to admit it.
